Why should I seal my pavement?
Unsealed pavement is highly susceptible to staining, erosion, and mould or algae growth — especially in Perth’s harsh climate. Sealing helps:

- Resist oil, grease, and leaf stains

- Reduce moss and mould regrowth
- Extend the lifespan of your surface

What types of pavement can be sealed?
We seal a just about any kind of outdoor surface, including:
- Exposed aggregate
- Plain or coloured concrete
- Brick or clay pavers
- Stamped and stencilled concrete
- Natural stone (limestone)

How long does pavement sealing last?
The lifespan of a sealer depends on the type of surface, the sealer used, and the amount of traffic or exposure. On average:
- Exposed aggregate: 5-7 years
- Honed aggregate: 3-5 years
- Concrete and pavers: 5-7 years
- High-traffic areas may require earlier reapplication (possibly every 3 years).
Regular maintenance cleaning will help extend the life of the sealer.
Will sealing change the appearance of the surface?
It depends on the surface type and the sealer we’re able to use – but typically the appearance is not impacted.

How should I maintain my sealed pavement?
Once sealed, your pavement will be easier to maintain. To keep it looking its best:
- Sweep regularly to remove debris
- Hose off dirt and grime as needed
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or acidic cleaners
- Re-seal every few years for continued protection
Can I walk or drive on sealed pavement straight away?
You’ll need to allow the sealer to fully cure before using the area:
- Foot traffic: 2 hours after sealing
- Vehicle traffic: 3-7 days (depending on the sealing product used)
