FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
Why use pressure washing services in Perth?
Many homeowners would be blown away to know the potential lying underneath their old, worn and filthy surfaces.
Even just after a pressure washing, the results are incredible.
Then, once we’ve filled in any cracks and applied two coats of sealant, the results are better than new.
Best of all, it’s cheaper too.
So bring beauty back to your surfaces and create the wow factor by calling Resurfaced Cleaning and Sealing.
What happens to surfaces that aren't regularly maintained?
If surfaces aren’t regularly cleaned and maintain with services such as pressure washing, they can experience negative effects over time such as damage, discolouration and degradation.
Stains from oil, rust, tree sap, bird droppings and other organic debris can set into surfaces, making them very difficult to remove if left for long periods of time and impacting the overall look of your bricks, concrete or limestone.
By not pressure cleaning surfaces regularly, property owners may face increased costs and sub-par results when trying to rectify the problem, and reduced property value due to the progressive damage and unsightly appearance.
Is pressure cleaning safe for my surfaces?
At Resurfaced, we use our knowledge and experience as Perth pressure cleaners to assess what tools, and how much pressure to apply on a range of different surfaces.
Our aim is to improve what you have and bring the beauty back to the surface. So we do everything we can to keep your surfaces in good condition and to not cause any harm.
Can you get rid of moss?
Absolutely, moss blasts off easily with our extreme duty pressure washer, no matter how dirty they are.
How can we prevent damage and prolong our surfaces?
After a thorough pressure wash, we can seal the surface with a protective layer to protect against the absorption of dirt, oil, tree sap and any other organic matter that our surfaces are regularly exposed to.
This is a great service to revive and prolong the life of an old but otherwise in-tact surface area, or to protect a newly laid surface.
With a range of sealants that can provide anti-slip, anti-graffiti and oil-repelling properties, we’ve got the right sealant for job.
We even have coloured sealants which not only protect your driveway but give it a fresh burst of colour which tends to really lift the look and feel of older properties.
What is the process?
First, we come and clean the surfaces using various pressure washing equipment and cleaning solutions to eliminate as much dirt as possible.
If any crack repair is required, we’ll do it shortly after the cleaning process.
Then, for sealing, we typically come back the next day to ensure the surface has had ample time to dry. Then we apply two coats of sealant to ensure that we’ve got a healthy amount of coverage and protection over the surface.
Do you use any chemicals
Typically not. Our pressure equipment is usually powerful enough to blast away any dirt or mold that we come across.
In some extreme cases, we do use some products to help remove stubborn stains where we believe more pressure may cause damage to your surfaces.
When sealing surfaces, there are chemicals involved. However once they are dry, they are safe for your pets and family to interact with.
How long do the sealers last?
We use two different sealers, depending on the surface. We’ll use either a breathable, penetrating sealer (5-7 years) or with a topical solvent based acrylic sealer (7-10 years).
